Returns Policy

Effective October 2024

Our company takes customer satisfaction with our work very seriously. Our objective is to ensure each experience a customer has with us is fair, transparent, based on honesty, and leads to exceptional outcomes for the customer. The following Returns Policy is one way we ensure our interaction with the customer is transparent and our customer experience objectives are met. This Return Policy outlines the rules we apply to the sell all our products.

 

By purchasing our products, you agree that a product purchase transaction with us is bound by this Returns Policy. Some conditions apply to any refund request. So, please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.

 

Ever After Crafter reserves the right to change this policy at any time without notice. The version of the Returns Policy that was posted at the time of the purchase transaction will be the version that governs that specific transaction. The Terms and Conditions posted on our website apply to this Returns Policy. If there is any conflict between this Returns Policy and the posted Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions will prevail.

 

A customer request for a product refund is subject to the procedures and conditions of this Returns Policy.

Defects.  Wood defects are irregularities or anomalies in the wood that detract from its natural beauty and strength. Common types of wood defects may include loose knots, chips, cracks that form due to drying of the wood, and warping. Craftsmanship defects, while rare, could occur with a final product that is shipped. Examples of craftsmanship defects include excessive dried glue that was not removed before shipping the product, loose joinery, the misspelling of personalized words due to an error on our part.

 

Imperfections.  Many of our products are handcrafted from wood and other natural materials, and, as a result, there may be some variations or irregularities in the wood, including, but not limited to, irregular wood grain, small knot holes, color variation, or a mix of heartwood and sapwood.  These are all considered to be natural imperfections and not defects. Please note: the reasonable use of wood filler to hide small nail holes or very small cracks is not considered a craftsmanship defect, as these things are intentional and do not detract from the beauty or strength of the final product. These natural imperfections add uniqueness and charm to the piece. Imperfections may also cause a slight difference in the look of the final product that is shipped from that of the picture of the product that is shown as an example on our website.

 

Refund Request Due to Error or Product Defect.  A refund request due to a product defect, as described above, is eligible for a refund. After receiving your request for a refund, we will provide you with a shipping label so that you may send the defective product back to us at no charge to you. Once the defective product is received by us, within fifteen days you will be issued a refund to the original form of payment you used with us to purchase the item. You may also choose to have a credit balance created from your refund so that you can use it against any future purchases from Ever After Crafters. 

 

Non-Personalized Products.  Ever After Crafter will approve a refund of non-personalized products provided: (a) we are notified of your desire for a refund within fifteen days following the day you received the product, and (b) the item is returned unused and in its original packaging. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us. Approved refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment within fifteen days once the product is received by us. You may also choose to have a credit balance created from your refund so that you can use it against any future purchases from Ever After Crafters. 

 

Personalized Products.  Ever After Crafter will approve a refund for personalized products provided: (a) we are notified of your desire for a refund within 15 days following the day you received the product, and (b) the refund request is solely due to a product defect as described above.  After receiving your request for a refund, we will provide you with a shipping label so that you may send the defective product back to us at no charge to you.  Approved refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment within fifteen days once the product is received by us. Alternatively, you may also choose to have a credit balance created so that you can use the refund credit against any future purchases from Ever After Crafters. 

 

Custom Projects.  In most cases, Custom Projects are not eligible for return or refund. Before shipping any Custom Project, the buyer will be sent multiple pictures from various angles that demonstrate the quality of the craftsmanship and condition of the product before being packed for shipment.  A refund may be considered and approved if work on the product has not yet begun and materials for the project have not yet been purchased. The final Custom Project product will be shipped in a reasonably appropriate fashion to mitigate any potential damage to the product caused during the shipping process. Please note: Any liability for the risk of damage, loss, and title for ordered items passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
