Our First Craft Show: A Memorable Day at the Pittsboro Street Fair

Tracey and I had the pleasure of attending our very first show as Ever After Crafters at the Pittsboro Street Fair, hosted by the Rotary Club of Pittsboro. This fantastic event took place in the heart of downtown Pittsboro on Saturday, October 26th, from 10 AM to 6 PM. It was an amazing opportunity to engage with the community, showcase our crafts, and immerse ourselves in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.

The fair featured a variety of attractions, including arts and crafts, food and beverage vendors, youth performances, and a wide range of family-friendly entertainment like bouncy houses, face painting, and balloon art. There was something for everyone, making it a day of fun for visitors of all ages. To top it off, the After Hours Concert from 4 PM to 6 PM in the municipal town lot was a perfect way to wind down the day, adding a musical note to an already fantastic experience.

The Pittsboro Street Fair is the Rotary Club of Pittsboro’s largest fundraiser, helping them support our Chatham community year-round. It was heartening to be part of an event that contributes to such a worthy cause, and we truly felt the warmth and support from everyone who stopped by our pop-up store. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people, all of whom made the day special for us.

Though I don’t have the final attendance numbers yet, it certainly felt like thousands of people made their way through the street fair. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, and there was a constant buzz of activity. Financially, the event was a success for us, and the positive feedback we received only solidified our decision to participate in future events.

We’re already looking forward to next year's Pittsboro Street Fair and the opportunity to connect with even more members of our community.
